West Coast Livin’

So I know I haven’t posted in a while…whomp. And I was maybe half way done with a post about a weekend trip we took to some of the beaches on the coast a couple of weekends ago. But I wasn’t enjoying the process of writing about it and it showed. So I said efffff that and deleted it. I’m not going to lie, I got a little down on myself for not posting recently. But then I reminded myself that that’s the beauty of having my own blog is that I can do WHATEVER I want with it. It’s a creative outlet for me so if I’m not diggin’ it for a couple of weeks, that’s OKAY! I’m still not totally feeling the creative juices lately (life’s been a bit crazy recently so I think that’s sucking some of it out of me) but I at least wanted to share some of the cool places we’ve been lately with some pictures I took. Enjoy!

A couple of weeks ago we visited some beaches along the coast of Cali and they were just absolutely stunning and so peaceful.
First up was Dana Point and then at night we went into Laguna Beach for dinner and drinks. We ate at a restaurant called “The Cliff” it was right on the beach and so SO delicious!

The next day we spent the morning at Dana Point Harbor and went on a Whale and Dolphin watching tour, we saw thousands of Dolphins, it was so cool!

We drove down the coast to San Clemente and spent the day getting drinks on the pier and lounging on the beach.

Lastly, we made it San Diego (Ocean Beach) and got tacos to go and eat them on the beach as the sunset = perfection.

The next day we went snorkeling off the coast of La Jolla beach with our friends who live in San Diego and got to swim with some Leopard Sharks and a sting ray!! Sadly, didn’t get any pictures of that but it was such an awesome experience!

This past weekend we decided to ring in the new season (aka, the best season ever, FALL!) by visiting an orchard near by and going apple picking, hard cider and wine tasting, and enjoying everything Fall has to offer.

Hope you all enjoy the turn of the new season with crisper weather and all things apples, pumpkin, scarves, and boots! With new seasons comes times to take on new adventures and make the most of what life has to offer 🙂

With so much love,
Kelsey 🙂
